The wingspan of the birds is 16 inches. They are molded in Pellucida, our sturdy proprietary compound of resins that is similar to translucent Bisque porcelain, but more durable. One of the birds is SIGNED and the pair comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.

• SOME ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED. The monofilament line attached to each bird has to be tied to the wire yoke
• We recommend attaching the yoke as close to the point of attachment, ceiling of whatever, so as to interfere visually as little as possible with the birds.

• A wire yoke is included, so that suspended from nearly invisible monofilament line, they appear to be soaring and move with the slightest breath of air.
• The stylized graceful simplicity of these birds fit the image of the iconic bird in Richard Bach's best selling book Jonathan Livingston Seagull, and helped the Studio get off to a flying start in 1972. Selling continuously since, one might say they have become a classic.
• By slightly bending the suspending wire one can alter, according to taste, the inclination of the gull, making it climb, dive or bank left or right.
• We offer various other version of gulls including a version we call Hovering with the birds tails down as though coming in to land. Also a 9 inch wingspan version and a version specially prepared so they can be used outdoors.
